It would seem that I am well on my way to having a job in this place. I have not had cause to solicit work on my own before. It was an interesting experience. I suppose no one has come to any conclusion regarding this sudden predilection for honesty that seems to be plaguing the city? I am not sure as to the validity of the theory that it is some malfunction of the Core; nor do I necessarily agree that the water supply has been tainted by some truth serum. It would be interesting to look through the records of this city and determine a real proportional relationship between the crime rate and the amount of newcomers in the city. I am sure that, were such a study to be conducted, we would find that murder in the City preexists the presence of newcomers. Murder is prevalent where ever there are large ( Read more... )

I found the noise of the monsters to be more irritating than the storm itself. Cats, apparently, can be distressed by the sound of thunder, lighting--but they are especially distressed by constant screeching. Placing them in a closet does not help ease their fears; it only makes them more distracting, and detracts from progress. So I am grateful ( Read more... )
